T-Bar Ceilings
Used primarily in commercial settings and basements to hide services in a ceiling space while also allowing easy access for maintenance and repairs.
Metal stud framing
Primarily used as a wood framing alternative. Metal stud walls allow for a quick install while not affecting the structural integrity. Primarily used in a commercial setting. Metal ceilings also allow for a quick install. They can be used in both a residential or commercial setting and can also be used to hide services in a basement setting
Insulation and drywall installation
Insulation is the material used to prevent heat loss and heat gain by providing a barrier from the inside of your house and the significantly different temperature outside
Drywall is the wall and ceiling covering used as an alternative to lath and plaster. Giving good sound control, fire resistance and Mold resistance.
Drywall Finishing,Texture removal and Texture Installation
The final phase before paint and the most important quality wise in the drywall stage. Drywall finishing consists of applying tape and bead before finishing everything with mud and sanded to leave a uniform look. When paint is applied everything should look flat and seemless.
Texture installation and texture removal are very much down to client preference. Texture removal is removing an unwanted ceiling texture and transforming it into either a flat ready for paint ceiling/wall or installing a different a texture type that is more to you the clients taste. Texture installation can also be a final stage of the drywall process before paint typically installed on ceilings to prevent the need to apply paint on the textured areas
